How can I tell if an AI service is down?
cdnping combines three signals: whether the official status page reports an incident, whether our probes of its API endpoint (run every 5 minutes) are failing, and whether user reports over the past 1 hours are significantly higher than usual. Any anomaly is flagged on the page.
How are user reports used?
Reports record only the service, issue type, time, and the country and carrier as determined by Cloudflare. IP addresses are not recorded. Reports from the same network for the same service are counted once per 10 minutes.
Does "it got dumber" mean the model was downgraded?
Not on their own. The sense that a model has "gotten dumber" depends heavily on prompts, tasks, and expectations. We read these reports alongside vendor quantization changes and third-party quality evaluations on the Model monitor page.
